The art exhibition of “Rudy Rahme” is running until end of Ramadan at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi daily.

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi and Sarah Jordan Associates present “an art exhibition by renowned Lebanese sculpture, poet and artist, Rudy Rahme.

Rudy Rahme is a renowned Lebanese painter, sculptor and poet. He was born in Bcharre north Lebanon in 1967. Rudy studied at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) and his pursued his specialisation in fresco and sculpture at the “Academia Spinelli-Florence” with the assistance of the Baraldi family. Rudy has received many accolades, among which the Golden Medal in Lebanese poetry, the Said Akl Prize, and the Murex d’Or of the French city Nojance sur Marne. Rudy invented a new technique for fixing the “Pencil on Canvas” painting which was patented in his name in Florence-Italy and announced at the Gadarte Gallery – Florence. Rudy has exhibited his work globally including: Miami, Singapore, Amsterdam, London, Paris, Switzerland Dubai & Monaco.

Rudy is known for creating the largest natural sculpture in the world. The idea rose from the existence of dead trees in the cedars forest, so that they won’t be cut and disposed unremembered, and so that their story remains and lives. Rudy Rahme came up with the idea of making the forest a natural museum, supported and assisted by the Committee of the Cedars Forest.

The exhibition Rudy Rahme runs until end of Ramadan 2017 and will be open to visitors and guests of the Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi daily from 9am to 10pm.
