Of all the amazing and unique dining experiences in Dubai, this is the tops!

In fact, I’d go as far as to say it’s a must; at least once, and perhaps repeated at various times of day and with different company – but certainly it is worth the experience even as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

And that’s for residents – for visitors and tourists, it’s a no-brainer: get yer tickets and go for Dinner in the Sky!

The views alone are unique, and spectacular.

And then consider you are actually in the open air, at a height of 50 meters, so the feeling is indescribable and to be experienced in person.

Basically, explaining that you will be suspended by a crane and served dinner doesn’t really do the experience justice – though, in practical terms that’s what happens.

Yup, your uplifted support for dinner.

But as I mentioned, solid engineering doesn’t do justice to the experience – Dinner in the Sky Dubai is a very well-prepared and complete dining experience much more than hoisting diners up into the sky.

And it’s glamorous!

Your red carpet arrival, or, onboarding process, is exciting and totally professional, as are the safety precautions – this is a well-oiled operation.

From the atmosphere to the equipment used, everything is first-class.

And then comes the dinner!

Above, pan-seared sea bass presented with saffron sauce and potato, on a bed of fragrant bed of puy lentils; and, below, tortellini with butternut squash.

Several options for starters, mains, and desserts from the set menus are at your disposal, and all are quite enticing!

Accompanied by your preference of beverages,

and besides the delicious food, the views are just spectacular even if they only gave you dry biscuits to nibble on!

Very cleverly, and no doubt due to the almost-certain requests, the staff are expert photographers!

Actually, I dare you not to take souvenir pics and selfies, and then not to post them on your social media – Dinner in the Sky Dubai is just perfect for memorable photos and videos!

Overall, the golden light of sunset fills the soul with happiness, up there where the birds fly – and we thoroughly enjoyed a magnificent sunset dinner.

I can only say that we’ll be back to enjoy this dinner also after dark, to soak in the night lights of Dubai JBR skyline – and then maybe again for lunch one lazy Sunday… I even wish they would offer a sunrise breakfast run, but that’s not available.

Maybe on special request, as I did note that parties often book the entire gondola as an exclusive fun get-together event in the sky!
