Of all the 190 cultures represented in Dubai Expo 2020, none are as well known for their carnival-like fun events as Latin Americans – and this spirit is what drives the Latino Brunch in Dubai at DoubleTree by Hilton in Business Bay every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month.

And the space is elegant – especially now that good weather is arriving…

I’d have preferred to sit outside – brilliant play of shadow and light!

Plus, outside is the grill master, and it’s always good to be close by, even if at the Latino Brunch they’ll bring the piping-hot grilled meats to your table.

Nothing tastes better than an outdoor grill BBQ!

Except the interior at My Square, the all-day dining venue at DoubleTree by Hilton Business bay, is also delightful,

Plus, it’s closer to the bar…

and especially closer to the fabulous Latino musical entertainment!

And this is where I felt the real “Latino” vibes – while at many brunches there are live musicians, none I have seen are as talented as the beautiful Norby.

She pulled out a series of musical instruments, playing each one with a talent and joy, and energy, second to none!

And that passion is what South American music is all about!

Yes, you may be able to play the notes in rhythm, but it is only when you feel the music in your veins, in your blood, in your culture, that you can energize a whole atmosphere, and that is exactly what you get at Latino Brunch – an atmosphere that is unique, and so true that Latin American people themselves were saying: “This is like feeling at home!”

In one word: authentic.

The food as well, by the way!

Just let me start with Churros… because there is nothing more Latin American than churros… and you know they need to be cooked right there in front of you, right?

Yes, in front of your very eyes – that’s real churros!

And enchiladas, and tacos, and cheviche..

And yet there is more!
