First off, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is the tallest hotel tower in the world.

Actually, there are two towers!

But surprisingly enough, it was not the astounding height that impressed the most – I mean, sure, it is fabulous to sip a cool drink with friends on the 69th floor, overlooking the milky way of Dubai’s skyline – but just look at the gorgeous interior of the hotel!

And so I needed a car that would match the spirit: uncompromising, yet chilled; energetic, yet effortless; and especially it had to look awesome!

The MINI Paceman S met the criteria, and my only regret is they didn’t let me drive right into the lobby!

If you haven’t driven a MINI recently, you are in for a treat with the Paceman S!!! It is enormous on the inside… MINI doesn’t necessarily mean mini anymore. And the interior layout is unique and fresh – it feels like you’re in a nightclub!

But back at the JW Marriott, it was time to choose a place to eat. And not any place, and not an easy choice! Again, the decor was outstanding.

I’m glad the JW Marriott didn’t stop the focus on its record-breaking height, but really aimed at the interior – still, staying at the world’s tallest hotel is something to write home about!
