Location, location, location!!! This is what best describes this restaurant.
Let’s first have a little quiz.
Think of the United States of America, name a famous city in the U.S……………did you say New York?
Think of New York, name its most famous square?…………….did you say Times Square?
EXACTLY!

The atmosphere is friendly, elegant and dynamic. The sensation you feel walking into the restaurant is a mixture of entering a sophisticated environment and your own cozy home.
The genuine smile and greeting at the entrance accompanies you throughout all the meal.
We were served by Vickie, one of the kindest and most professional waitresses I have ever met. She managed to explain the menu to us with a complete passion, and she helped us to really choose what was best for us, not like others who robotically babble out the specials, or try and fake their corporate-trained friendliness – nor did she read out the ingredients of the dish when asked about a dish: she described the dish so well, we could taste it with our ears!
This gave us a great kick-start to a very nice dinner experience, with the barman preparing us a nice cocktail.
The world-famous American burger is at home at the E&E Grill House:
But the hot plate of the house is the Bone-In Rib Eye Steak – be careful it goes fast and is only served according to availability!
If you want to make sure you taste it, you should reserve it ahead of time, while booking the table.
True to its name, E&E Grill delivered juicy grilled meats.
Lamb was fantastic.
As was the steak!
I am a real carnivore and vegetables don’t go along with me too much, but in this restaurant I must admit that the freshness and way of preparing them surprised me. It must be the influence of one of the restaurant owners, who is a vegetarian.
My favourite plate… was actually a tie between the New Zealand Rack of Lamb and the Kale Salad. The carnivore plate because I have rarely eaten such perfectly cooked lamb, a slow method that brought out all its wonderful taste. And the vegetarian plate because of the incredible combination of flavors from the ingredients that really surprised me… and that’s not an easy compliment from me for the greens!
And why not finish a wonderful meal with a delicious homemade dessert: key lime pie – YUM!
When in New York, do as the New Yorkers do and enjoy a fantastic meal at E&E Grill House!
