A really fun place, Eat Greek is a lively restaurant with both a spacious interior as well as a terrace giving onto the seawalk at JBR, basically opposite Dubai Eye.
The view from your table, and the vibes, are excellent at Eat Greek, and I can imagine it would be one of the best places in Dubai to welcome in the New Year!
And the fun is Greek – a people known for their parties!
It is easy to fill a tabletop at Eat Greek as the menu is fabulous in its selection and variety.
The dishes are very well prepared, and the flavors are vibrant – this isn’t a cuisine known for sitting quietly in the corner… this is a culinary culture that you find dancing on the table!
The trio of dips play with each other, encouraged by the tasty flatbread triangles.
It’s a style of dip that appears familiar to us in UAE, and yet the tastes are totally Greek!
Also, the vibrancy of the food is reflected in the salads and freshly-prepared dishes.
A fantastic combination of sweet beetroot and tart green apple slices, with crunchy croutons, makes a wonderful summer salad.
And it complements other popular starters, such as the deep-fried calamari – a Greek classic! – and the dips.
A word about those calamari… perfect cooking temperature! Light and crispy!
At the time for mains, Eat Greek brings out the big guns!
Besides the lighter fare, such as burgers, pies – the famous souvlaki, of course! – as well as pita bread wraps, Eat Greek proposes heavy-weight main courses that push the boundaries of casual dining towards a more comprehensive level of fine-dining…
For instance, a slow-cooked lamb shank, on a bed of root vegetables – a fabulous and stately dish, with the meat leaving the bone totally clean.
Or choose from the Seafood page, with numerous grilled items, including octopus, tiger prawns, calamari, or the catch of the day.
Or, again, go all out and just Eat Greek from the Greek Specialties page! And if you don’t know what a Giovarlakia Avgolemono is… well, time to find out!
But Eat Greek Kouzina has saved the best for last!
You see the slice of cheesecake at the far end of the scrumptious dessert platter?
Among the delicious variety on offer – all delicacies – that cheesecake stood out as the best I have tasted in UAE ever!
The Eat Greek cheesecake alone is worth a visit to the restaurant.
But when you combine the dishes and the ambiance, you are guaranteed a fun time!
As well as for large groups… Greek style!
Eat Greek Kouzina restaurant presents a very attractive lunch or dinner option, with an enviable location in the heart of JBR, and a lively and entertaining feeling of good fun and food – I can’t imagine anyone leaving without a giant smile on their face!
