The Friday Brunch at the Steinberger reminds of the good old days in Dubai, when social brunches were THE place to be, and they served as a community focal point just as much as a luxury buffet late on Friday (used to be Thursday, by the way).
The Steinberger is a brand-new and very modern hotel, so don’t get me wrong with the “good old days” quip – the architecture and decor is fabulously elegant – the reminiscence was aimed at the great number of lovely people in attendance – and the Bayside Brunch was impressive!
The concept of bringing together several world cuisines and creating one sumptuous buffet of global proportions is not new – but rarely is it executed with perfection as at the Steinberger!
The attention to detail was spectacular.
From Thai Chili Fish…
…to a turkey roast with all the trimmings!
From live cooking, both with tanoor oven…
…to an outdoor charcoal grill!
And from made-before-your-eyes teppanyaki style ice-cream…
…to elegant Arabian and Indian desserts!
Besides the carefully curated culinary delights, the ambiance overall was delightful, and a live jazz singer provided a suave background.
And the quality of the prepared foods and their ingredients was world-class.
As a new hotel on the Business Bay scene, the Bayside Brunch is designed to serve as the Steinberger’s business card – and they didn’t hold back!

Overall, the Bayside Restaurant & Terrace has shot up to one of the top Friday brunches in Dubai – and the tight-knit community is spreading the news fast!
The poise and elegance of the presentation and the delightful dishes are deservedly the talk of the town.
