A wonderful dinner destination any day of the year, the magic becomes thicker and the joy more tangible during the full moon festival of Loy Krathong – when the good folks in the Sukhothai kitchens put their skills together to represent their country and impress all visitors with a special limited-time menu to celebrate this marvelous cultural tradition.
And the atmosphere is fabulous at Le Meridien Village on a full moon evening!
But none of the 18 restaurants in Le Meridien Village are as happening as Sukhothai during a Thai festival.
Because the delicious meal is one thing, but a fun Thai festival is something else!!
The krathong is a cheerfully decorated candle-lit float… and you are welcome to join in the ceremonies, for good luck.
And Sukhothai restaurant offers a marvelous ambiance all nights, not only during special events.
Both indoors and out in the garden
Thai fine-dining at its best in Dubai
I will reveal only one of the 3 starters, soup, 3 mains, and dessert that comprise the Loy Krathong special menu – as not to spoil the surprise prepared by the Chef and his team:
Handmade coconut ice-cream and shavings on a crème brûlée infused with the delicate fragrance of pandan leaves – certainly fit for a full moon festival!
