Florence is one of the most popular cities to visit in Italy, it is easily reachable from Milan, Venice and Rome and in my opinion, the minimum requirement to stay is at least 2 days (forget the “visit in one day” proposals). Florence is packed with historical sites, sightseeing opportunities, dining experiences and a wide selection of hotels for all budgets. If you are looking for a really special hotel to bathe in luxury and impress your spouse or husband, which better place than JK Place Firenze.
JK Place is a Boutique Hotel that will leave you without breath, placed smack in the centre of Florence (in Piazza Santa Maria Novella) it is only 500m from the main train station and all main attractions are well within walking distance.
This “House” is the quintessential interpretation of royal treatment, where the attention to detail towards the customers is well beyond normal. You will feel at home and the customer care is a step above standard luxury chain hotels, staff will welcome you by name, pamper you and go out of their way to make your stay memorable.
The reception is positioned in a library and immediately makes you feel at home and cosy, creating an extraordinary feeling of being welcome.
The room I stayed in was the Master Room on the first floor with balconies directly on the square with a breathtaking view of the famous church. The room is spacious and furnished with delightful taste with a four posted bead with linen sheets and cashmere quilt, one of the best nights I had.
Size was appreciable with a comfortable sitting area in front of an original fire place and behind a well sized desk where I could work when necessary. Most appreciated are the very high speed internet and the charging station with many different cables for probably all mobile devices, very useful in case you forgot your cables.
I was also mesmerized by the delicate scent that is present in all the hotel which is subtle and not intrusive and brings a luxury feel with it.
The hotel also has several other room options, including the Penthouse.
Definitely I recommend an “aperitivo” at the JK Terrace where a very knowledgeable and passionate Andrea, the Food & Beverage Manager, will suggest and explain the seasonal products, excellent wines available and also share some historical facts about Florence.
At night, the place to be is the rooftop terrace!
JK Place Firenze has also an excellent breakfast with organic local food and ingredients and when I asked for a special omelet it was presented just as I wished for it.
Dine in or out in the world – totally your choice!
But at JK Place Firenze you also get more than two choices – you get to eat in and out at the same time!
For a fabulous stay in Firenze, go all out for the experience and stay at JK Place Firenze – highly recommend if you are stopping over in Florence (which you should at least once in your life!).
