“Fish Market” Friday Brunch is an event of memorable proportions, where family and friends can all enjoy not only an incredible feast, but also opt to spend the day at the Al Raha Beach Hotel facilities!

Brunch is served in the hotel’s Sevilla restaurant – a massive hall, with an entire wall of phenomenal natural light – or you may choose to dine al fresco on the terrace.

It’s difficult to explain just how impressive the spread of the buffet brunch is in terms of size – let’s just say that just the dessert section is bigger than entire buffets I’ve experienced in Abu Dhabi…

But, as always, size and variety on offer is one thing, but it is the details that bring the focus onto quality, and veteran Executive Chef Taufik Satisna knows all about it.

Before I start on the fresh seafood – which was incredible! – I’ll put forward a quick note to say that also red meat eaters will be very pleased: a superlicious Sunday Roast carving station is at your service for a tremendous rendition of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, root veggies, and a seriously good gravy!

But it is the seafood that steals the show!

From massive and extremely fresh hammour… cooked as you like it,

to the most delicate and petite appetizer,

then on to all sorts and varieties of what the underwater world has to offer the epicurean!

Super-fresh, and cooked instantly upon your request.

Seashells and crustaceans, too.

And they arrive to your table in elegance, served with class.

At each buffet station there is a theme and rationale – be it Arabian food, including a large carved lamb; or Indian, with delicious curries; or Japanese sushi, live rolled for you; and even the salad bar is a masterpiece on its own!

Meanwhile, a Cuban live band treats your ears in the background,

and wines refresh your palate in between the delicacies.

And I believe I already mentioned dessert… mind blown!

I don’t know what the world record is for the most amazing selection of delicious sweets, cakes, ice creams, chocolates, and more, is for a Friday Brunch, but I’d say Al Raha Beach Hotel has a good chance at beating it!

Overall, the totality of the dining experience is fabulous at the Fish Market brunch – and it would be impossible not to find both your favorite dish as well as a surprising new favorite!
