A new kid on the Mirdif block, B Social is hosted at the Millennium Place hotel alongside Mushrif Park and is indeed one of the few restaurants that isn’t squished into the Mirdif City Centre – a very good thing, too, as a proper meal does not involve mall shops!

In fact, it’s lovely to go out for dinner, period – not, go shopping and when your feet hurt and stomach grumbles, try find a place to eat…

B Social makes for a perfect rendez-vous location, for good conversation and a delicious meal.

Being part of the ultra-modern boutique hotel, Millennium Place Mirdif, also means you have elegant interior decor as well as professional standard service – in fact, the staff were wonderful during our visit!

And the food was exceptional in both taste and presentation – at an excellent level of quality.

But before dessert, let’s go back to the dining hall and the great use of natural lighting.

The indoor / outdoor choice of seating is yours,

and there surely is a comfortable corner for your table, as well as several private dining rooms. You may inquire when you place your booking.

Also, you may select between types of seating, which I thought was a good idea.

Although B Social hasn’t yet launched its full menu, a lively set menu with quite a variety of options was on offer, and the good folk in the kitchens were in a playful artistic mood!

The attention to detail was fantastic, and flavors were popping!

I can’t say whether these dishes will find their way onto the permanent menu, or if still undergoing exprimentation – but I sure hope they do because they were delicious.

Soups were more traditional, and the flavors were rich and spot-on!

Salads were too generous in portion to be sides, so perhaps they can serve as stand-alone healthy meal option for a business lunch.

Smoked salmon is always a treat, and the Fattoush salad was delicately balanced and super fresh.

For mains, we selected a beef medallion and grilled salmon, both of which came with numerous colorful sides.

The sauces were the highlight of the dishes – an earthy mushroom sauce for the beef, below, and a light lemon sauce for the fish.

Besides a full meal, B Social also serves a focal point for dreamy snacks and coffee:

And the desserts were simply extraordinary!

So, when in the Mirdif or surrounding areas, and feeling either totally hungry or snackish, and wanting a tranquil and sophisticated option to mall dining, B Social offers a distinguished locale with friendly staff ready to serve you with delicious dishes.
