which turns out to be the beating heart of excitement at Above Eleven!

And it’s because the bartenders are masters of mixology!

And the views are unrestricted and exceptional – this is THE place for the winter months.

The drink list is eclectic, and it covers most of what anyone could dream of, and more.

Similarly, the Oasis cocktail, clear and a totally different genre, but equal in magically captivating the taste buds: absolutely tip-top bartending!

Besides the hypnotizing excellence of the bar, Above Eleven offers a full menu, based on a juxtaposition of Peruvian and Japanese dishes.

The pure Japanese sushi was fabulous and of high quality – below, marvel at the Hokkaido Scallops:

Prepared on the spot at Above Eleven’s live sushi counter, and served at just the right temperature, with a precise attention to detail.

A full-on delicacy, and I wish we had explored the sushi aspect of Above Eleven more, as I feel there is much expertise there, in a humble, under-stated kind of way.

But it was the South American dishes that took center-stage!

Ceviche with fried calamari rings, and traditional corn…

… tempura shrimps… and then mains representing Latin American cuisine.

An interesting collection of black sesame ice-cream and green matcha preparation crowned the dinner, for the sweet caress of dessert.
