In the Sharjah sand dunes, accessible by tarmac road, awaits a luxury oasis… the Al Badayer Retreat!
A reconstructed Emirati fort, where relaxation and exciting activities go hand in hand with a lovely Friday brunch…
And they haven’t held back to impress their honored guests!
Hosted in the resort’s Al Madam restaurant, the ambience is Arabian, the hospitality is Emirati, and also most welcoming is its comfort and appointed luxury:
The interior is elegant and the service is excellent, professionally managed by Mysk, which is a forward-thinking group of distinctive boutique hotels, eco-retreats and lodges purposefully located in key locations throughout the Sharjah Emirate – they aim to take you on an exquisite journey on the Eastern winds and sands of time.
Despite the challenging conditions posed by the natural surroundings, the Friday brunch was a lively affair, with delicacies presented both inside and at the live grill.
Cooked on demand, marinated shrimp, chicken, fish, and lamb skewers are paired with fragrant saffron rice.
As well as delicious burgers, small pizzas, hot mezzes, creamy corn, and all sorts of other special yummies!
While an extravaganza of seafood and salads beckon for your attention inside…
Healthy fare is also a great choice, and juicy salads offer another dimension of well-being at Al Badayer Retreat.
Additionally, a selection of enticing non-alcoholic drinks are on offer, including a fantastic pomegranate drink with an exotic spin, which I suspect may have been a dash of jallab, and of course a liberal topping of pine nuts!
The dessert selection was also excellent, and able to capture the preferences of all, with rich cakes as well as elegant flutes of individual portions.
Overall, Al Badayer Retreat serves as both a weekend brunch destination for the dining experience and all the exciting activities that follow, making for a full day out for the family, surrounded by the spectacular beauty of the Sharjah desert dunes.
