Dubai is one of the world capitals for the weekend brunch – that unwinding ceremony as the workweek surrenders to the weekend.

And at JA Lake View Hotel it is an epic affair!

The 81 all-day dining restaurant hosts the event, with access to multiple swimming pools and overlooking the golf course.

The interior dining halls are impressive with their high ceilings and use of natural light, and the brunch exhales a relaxed pace that really allows one to catch their breath and focus on the important people in their life.

And the brunch is up to the standards of such a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere!

Not only are there live stations, but entire live zones – such as whole floor tucked away for teens, and a very well organized and staffed child play area.

On the one side of the grand terrace, which actually spans 270-degrees around the restaurant area, crowning the resort and placing it at the very center of the action, you will find the live grilling zone – and that alone could have been the entire brunch!

And the most amazing BBQ smoker ever – JA Lake View Hotel’s smokin’ wagon!!

And it produces succulent beef brisket…

But, really, that is only 100th of the amazing display of culinary talent presented at the 81 We be Brunchin’!

But before we move onto another brunch zone, a note about what makes a big impact on the success of a brunch – and that is the service of the staff.

Whatever JA Lake View Hotel is doing with their staff, it’s working miracles – genuinely friendly, happy and professional all around.

One responsible for the free flow of magical gin cocktails, and the Chef in white above staffing the pasta station, and responsible for such delicacies as these ravioli with spinach and ricotta!

But I need to speed up, because believe it or not we’re still at the first zone of this massive brunch!!!

Inside, there’s the seafood and sushi section…

The carvery and hot plates zone…

A whole massive section for the cheeses… and not two or three tidbits – in quantity!

And the dessert section is basically the size of a regular full buffet elsewhere…

With an emphasis on homemade style baking of cakes, as well as delicate morsels of love.

Overall, 81 at JA Lake View Hotel slammed the weekend brunch to the top in Dubai, with a variety of epic proportions, an atmosphere of relaxed fun and plenty of activities, and a small army of smiling staff.

And especially important in these times, plenty of personal space in between tables, and with the live food zones nicely spread out and separate, so that there is no crowding and lots of sunshine and fresh air.
