Two steps from Jumeirah Public Beach, Double Patty has become a favorite burger haunt for burger connoisseurs – and so weekenduae had to go see what all the vibes were about!

Yes, oh yes – very well deserved reputation!

Absolutely tip-top burgers, no doubt about it.

Double Patty is a small restaurant, with only four tables inside – though another two for large groups of friends are available out front, on the terrace.

And it’s cozy, funky, and super-clean – and I would suppose many faithful clients are happy to take-away or simply have those amazing gourmet burgers delivered!

Because when you specialize in a popular food item such as the ubiquitous burger, a business model that keeps your focus laser-sharp on the deliciousness of the product, rather than fancy marketing and decor, is a winning strategy.

And clearly the Double Patty burgers are hip and hot in Dubai!

But it’s not totally and only burgers…

The Double Patty menu is tight and aimed clearly at what they do best – and that’s another wining strategy… I’m always suspicious of menus that offer everything and anything: you can’t really excel at everything. Instead, you need to pick and choose, and focus your resources on few dishes but deliver at an exceptional level.

Double Patty’s burgers are most certainly exceptional.

If that doesn’t set your burger craving into high gear, then I don’t know what will.

And it’s true I’m a pro photographer, so you can expect good photos; but I just take pics of whatever is presented on the plate – I don’t touch-up, or add make-up, photoshop in things… that’s simply what came to the table.

And both burgers we tried were juicy, tasty, and excellent in all regards, from potato buns, the quality of the meat, to the perfect preparation in the kitchen, to the awesome toppings!

And you see those crispy-crunchy bits?

Similarly, the hot dog was loaded with yum!

The sweet potato fries were piping hot, each one prepared to a satisfying crunch of perfection!

And the strawberry milkshake just crowned a winning combination of burger/hot dog + side of fries (choice of several) + milkshake (also in various flavors).

That’s a heavenly trifecta when prepared by someone aiming for the very best – and that’s exactly what Double Patty does, day in, day out.
