And I love how Black Tap is always coming out with special enhancements and limited edition specialities – its creativity is really unlimited.

And I also appreciate the great balance between being a hip and original New York City style burger joint, and upscale dining in terms of quality ingredients, service, and hospitality.

I actually came in especially for the Spring Lamb Burger!

Black Tap is famous for its juicy beef burgers, but lamb? I had to try, and so should you!

The good folk in the Black Tap kitchens did not disappoint – excellent presentation, and just looking at that platter you know this is going to be phenomenal.

The giant pickle is there, the freshest green lettuce, a thick slice of tomato, Black Tap signature fries – but then there is a special mint chimichurri sauce, which is just made for lamb, and a sprinkling of pink pickled onions!

Oh yes! Can’t wait to chomp on this!

In fact, it was excellent, and a must for lamb lovers – cooked just right and pink (your server will ask how you want your lamb prepared: rare, medium, medium-well, well-done… professional!) – and the choice of Swiss cheese was spot-on: not too strong to take away from the thick seasoned lamb patty, but instead it enhanced its flavors – look closer: a top quality burger.

A masterpiece!

And add to that the delicacies offered on the regular Black Tap menu, and you have a feast at your fingertips.

Above, the Atomic Shrimp, and below, the Guac and Chips – classics!

And then of course there’s that balance of cool hipness vs quality dining mentioned previously – it’s not an easy thing to pull off, by the way – and you can complete your meal with excellent coffee, for instance.

Nobody shows up with a paper cup and machine-instant coffee at Back Tap – the barista brews it for you beans up!

Overall, a visit to Black Tap Dubai Mall is a sure win – extremely delicious burgers and fries, with specials coming your way at important moments in your life; an elegant dining area but also hip, and a promise of top-quality service and ingredients – and I’m not even mentioning the Crazyshakes®, and the outdoor terrace right by Dubai Fountain!
